The tread developed for the terrain can take on any weather. The device is water resistant to IPX7 and was developed according to US Military Standard 810 for thermal performance and shock resistance.
The 5.5-inch, particularly bright display of the Tread-Navis can be operated with gloves and is easy to read even in bright sunlight or when it is pitch dark. The device can be mounted in portrait or landscape format.
Topographic maps and road maps of Europe, Africa, including Tracks4Africa, the Middle East, North and South America as well as Australia and New Zealand are preinstalled on the Tread.

Use the Tread App 2 , to synchronize waypoints, tracks, routes and collections on multiple devices, including mobile devices, computers and Tread-Navi. Importing and sharing GPX files is also very easy.
The scope of delivery includes a bracket with power supply, a cable harness with pipe bracket and a handlebar bracket so that you can mount the Tread-Navi on the powersport vehicle and drive it through rough terrain.
So that you can find your way around even in difficult terrain, sensors such as an altimeter, barometer, compass and displays for pitch and roll are integrated into the device.
Pair the Tread-Powersport-Navi with one of the compatible inReach satellite communication devices 3 (sold separately) to use the two-way SMS sending, interactive SOS emergency calls and weather forecasts.
Use turn-by-turn directions with spoken street names when you are back in civilization with the Tread and want to navigate the street.
Is bad weather forecast for your route? Pair the Tread device with your compatible smartphone and download the Tread app to access live weather data, animated radar images and more 2 .
You can easily play back music stored on your compatible smartphone via an integrated media player and control it via the display of the navigation system. The sound is output via your helmet or headset (sold separately) with Bluetooth technology.
What's near you? Maximize your view by pairing the Tread-Navi with a rugged BC ™ 40 wireless camera with tube mount (sold separately). It can be easily mounted on the tubular frame, instrument panel or roll cage of the vehicle.
Pair the Tread with the compatible Garmin PowerSwitch ™ digital control box (sold separately) to activate display controls for the 12-volt devices in your side-by-side vehicle, e.g. B. light strips, differential locks and more.
IOverlander POIs (Points of Interest) are preinstalled on the Tread so that you do not need a cell phone signal to find your way to well-known, remote and difficult to find campsites.
