The advanced Scan Averaging technology, now used for the first time in Garmin Magnetron radar systems, filters out background noise in the ocean by averaging the scan data, resulting in even more accurate target indication.

IMPULSION EXTENSION

Increase the duration of the transmission pulse to obtain stronger signals. This will make targets appear larger on the chartplotter.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE ANTENNAS

The robust antennas are certified up to a wind speed of 100 knots ^. With rotation speeds of 24 and 48 revolutions per minute, the beam radars with 12 and 25 kW transmit power achieve a range of up to 96 NM (178 km), whereas the 4 kW radar achieves a range of up to 72 NM (133 km).

TRUE ECHO TRAILS

Displays the signal trail of boats or objects on compatible chartplotters. It removes the influence of relative movement to more quickly identify moving targets or potential collision hazards.
